The block probably will be a C7AE casting. That C7AE may be followed by an -A. The casting date should be approximately two months prior to your cars build day of May 17, '67. So maybe in March.... or maybe even back to February...or may be as late as sometime in April. I've just heard that two months difference is reasonable. Others may know more.
You didn't mention whether your -S-code is a Mustang or a Fairlane? I know, it's probably a 'stang and there's nothing wrong with that. There were just a few of us who would buy Fairlanes because....I'm not sure. Maybe it was because my girl freind at that time thought Mustangs were soooo cute. I did everything I could to please her!
