I have decided to keep the 428 and perform some upgrades. I am going to pull the engine and tear it down and build it all over again with a different cam profile, intake, carb and headers. The main reason I am going to tear it down it is to change to a different piston. I am sure the pistons were not changed on the previous rebuild. This engine received everything else though. A balance job may get done as well just to see what the difference is in an engine before and after. The heads are just fine the way they are. They have all stainless valves and hardened valve seats and it wasn't cheap!
