I only know of 1 rare 390... By Laserman - 01/08/2002 2:34:06 PM; IP 134.134.248.28 That was the experimental Aluminum block 390 used in a few prototype Shelby Cobras. AFAIK, most of those were pulled from the cars and I don't know the whole story of what happened to them after that (I think they were returned to Ford who scrapped some of them and sold off the rest). I also have a vague recollection of Holman-Moody offering them for sale. Someone else might have more info on these, but that's the only rare 390 I can think of (and they're probably the rarest FE that wasn't a one-off). -Shane
