FE Block ID??
By Johnj - 01/13/2002 1:18:53 PM; IP 165.121.38.67
Here is another one.
I am looking at a 69 mustang, I have confirm the engine has 428 heads-16 exhaust holes per side and removed valve cover --has correct #s

however the engine # on the left side of the block is
C5AE-A and the date code below the oil filter is 4M29.

Is this a 390, 428, or 427?

Any help ASAP would be appreciate since I need to make a decision on buying today!!

Thanks, John
