I am also working on a custom crossmember for my conversion from Cruise-O to C-6. I read in another string that you have experience in this also. My plan is to section the x member, and slide the center portion rearward, so I can mount to the original frame mounts. I have an extra x member, so if I ever decide to got he resto route, I can just unbolt the modified x member, and bolt the stocker back in. I figure that if I adjust my parking brake cable lengths, I should be able to use the factory e-brake setup. (I can't remeber the last time I had a really strong parking brake)

Someone should really market a tubular x member for this application with a provision for the parking brake. I keep reading that people are doing this conversion, everyone seems to use a different method. Hope mine works!
