C1AE-B = HP352 rod?

I don't think so. Check out item #601177238 on ebay. A set of C1AE-B rods, he knows they're HP 352 rods because it says so in Steve Christ's book on pp. 34-35(it doesn't actually say this on those pages but it does in the connecting-rod list on p.54). Also he says his machinist confirms that they are the 6.540 long rod.

John has a set of C1AE-B rods he pulled from what he is certain was a '61 or '62 390. We ran a piston pin through one of those and a C7AE CJ rod to align and compare. The C1AE is definitely skinny and the its length is identical to the 6.488 CJ rod.

Of course we had to check George Reid's book 'cause it's the gospel......right? Sure enough ol'George lifted Steve's misinformation or misprint for his FE rod id on page 102.

Now I don't like to take much from Steve Christ's book. It's a good one. It has helped me numerous times. One that all we FEnatics should have on the shelf. But is this one of the few errors in it?

Or is there such a thing as a HP352 rod #C1AE-B?
