Thanks for the info. The car is currently a small block C-6 convertible with the big block radiator,shroud, and fan. I believe that the convertible has the big block frame mounts to lower the engine already. Also it has headers and non factory duals so exhaust should be pretty easy. As for the C7AE-A heads, are they really that ordinary? I had been told that they were pretty good heads as far as FE's go. Also, the heads are not drilled for more than 8 holes per side on the exhaust. What car would they have come from? They also seem to have the double springs like the CJ heads that my original FE heads did not have? If I decide to go 428 rotating assembly I assume I'll have to replace the crank, rods, pistons, flywheel, harmonic balancer and add the external 428 balancer as well. Anything else?
