Heres my experiance with this. On a 65 I had years ago, I swapped the Cruiso for C6 and used the Cruiso flexplate with the C6 for many years without a stich of trouble. I just went out to the garage like Mike and I happen to have a 28 'aftermarket' flexplate lying around and comapared it to a 65 Cruiso plate thats lying around and I cannot see any apparent differance in the two other than the obvious weight on the 28 plate.
