damn, you made me go look! the bellhousing depth is different on an fmx for a 351 m than a 390! i just went and measured the ones i have and i guess ford did it so they could use all of the same mounts and driveshaft. hawkrod (yes i am into late 70's pick-ups and run 385 series stuff so i have lots of that crap laying around!)
