...The Performer heads, especially unported, make power in a range from 1500 to about 6000. You have 9.5:1 pistons, meaning that you are limited in cam choice to something that makes power in the off-idle to 5000 rpm range. Then you want to top it with a Victor manifold that doesn't start making power until 4000+ rpm.

I would go with a Performer RPM cam and intake and this should put you in the 450HP range with the right exhaust. Later you can add compression, add cam and *maybe* use that Victor intake.

Keep in mind that it takes a really serious engine (read $$) to make full use of a Victor series intake.
