As far as the 2 cams being similar you would need to know the Intake opening degree number and the Exhaust opening degree number for each cam . The sum of these 2 numbers is the "overlap" which is how we compared cams in the "old days" before manufacturers used @.050 duration figures and I bet both of these cams are between 46 degrees and 50 degrees. The greater the overlap number the bigger the cam. If 2 cams have the same duration but have different Lobe Displacement Angles like 114 vs 110 the smaller (110) will have more overlap. |
