The earlier 428s were rated at 340-345 HP and 459-462 ft lbs torque.

The later 428CJs were rated at 335 HP and 440 lbs. Both figures were decreased....in a high performance version of the same engine! LOL . NHRA factored the 428CJ up to 360.
