the shift selector arm (the arm that sticks out the side of the trans that your rod from the shifter hooks to) is different for different applications. the 66 tbird selector arm (in the parts book it is called a "lever manual control") only fits a 66 bird, one year and one model (guess if you don't have one you are SOL!). the trans shop should swap this as part of the rebuild at no charge (unless they bolt the trans together before you mention it!). hawkrod
