It's usually a tool that has a pre-set dimension that will fit (go) and another tool that's outside dimension the that won't fit (no-go). It's a faster way to get something done with out using micromeders. But to set up a valve tain for an fe is very time consuming, but should last the life of motor. It would have been nice if they were all adjestable. Ray
