there are hydraulic roller lifters that can be used. But you have to use a cam just for them. Also the pushrods will be custom. Its a lot of money for not that great of a gain in my opinion. Since these engines never were designed with them in mind. Can you list more info, as a recomendation is dependant on such things as car weight, trans, gear ratio, compression, induction, exhaust, intended usage, (since you said torque monster, I think of a truck for instance). The cam you mention is a fine one from the factory, but there are many other choices that would be more in the ballpark with the supplied info. |
