make the notches in the pistons a little bigger towards the outside of the existing reliefs. The C-J valves are larger and will contact the ones that are there if you run a bigger profile, especially if they are milled. Shorter pushrods are in order too, to keep the geometry correct. Also you may have to mill the intake side of the head or the intake and not use the cork end gaskets to get proper fit. This is one of the most critical areas on building an FE. |
