Buy the car, toss the gauges, get some good ones!

Love that Fairlane! However, things ALWAYS look better in a photograph than they do in reality. You don't see paint flaws, rock chips, grease on the motor, etc. in the photos.

I was getting out of high school at the time that car was built, and thank God I ended up with a 1600 cc Alfa instead of something with a big motor, because I raised enough hell with the little one for one lifetime (including being chased by a 429 powered police car on dirt roads, and cough, cough, ......getting away.....when the big cruiser didn't make a tight turn in the dirt !) Statute of limitations is up...........er I hope !

That model of Fairlane is my all time favorite. What a beautiful car even by today's standards.
