RE: 428 ? help

The block as far as I can remember doesn't have reinforces main webs, as for the rods they are just standard but the nuts are bigger than 9/16 . I don't remember off hand the bore but the pistons say 428 and where standard. I am not a ford person but don't the casting #'s speek for themselves? (when I bought it I thought it was a 390 with a steel crank till I took out a piston and saw 428. )
