Yeah, but I got on tonight to find out if the auto trans mounted behind the 429 I have will bolt up to the late 60s 390 I'm going to drop into my 67 Fairlane! Then I see this post. The 429 is out of a 67/68 Tbird and I think the trans is a C6. It doesn't have a seperate bell housing - the trans case goes all the way from the block to the tail, in 1 piece. Will it fit? It's 31 spline coming out of the tail.
