I had a 66 Fairlane delivered today and it is a complete POS. I am QUITE perturbed, and did not think to look at the manifold. But, you are saying that there is a plate with a fitting to tie the two holes together. Is there another fitting that leads to the brake booster? I am right so far about using the valve cover for ventilating, just using common sense instead of experience. That's cool... About the kickdown: The question was not whether it would work with the 3 deuces, it was whether or not anyone had a linkage assembly FROM that paddle, down to the trans case. I hear that finding this assembly is like looking for the holy grail, and we should just go with the Lokar cable setup. Thanks! Cheers George
