It will help you make up your mind and he has a few guesses at the kind of improvement you might get. You can check FPA at http://www.fordpowertrain.com/opening.htm to see if they have any advertised numbers. Sounds like you're probably mostly street use. The FPAs will work great and give you a noticable improvement in torque up through about 3500. It's probably better above that too but by then you start to feel the rush of better horsepower that seems to stay with you as high as you want to wind it. I only went to 6000, that's where my factoy tach redlines. I think 69 & 70 CJs redline at 5700 or there abouts.

Even without "official numbers", the grin-meter definately told me I'd made the right decision to go back to headers. BTW, my car is a 68 GT 500 KR convertible, so I did feel some pressure to keep it reasonably stockish. A free breathing system with FPA headers and Flowmasters was the right decision for me, no doubt at all.
