I wouldn't worry about it if the engine is running fine, but you can check the valve lift with a magnetic dial indicator and compare it to factory specs for valve lift. I only get about 15 with my 428. It does have a fairly mild Crane cam, but at a little over 0.5" of lift, it would be obvious if checked the way I stated.
