The two are identical except for the carb flange. There is also the large thermostat and small thermostat variation of the "S" intake. It was used most often on cars from 1966-1971, but some pickups have been seen with them. Pickup trucks more often got the "T" design. Though it was used on the 390GT, it's not a performance intake, just a smooth running luxury liner hauler. Obviously, it's quite a common intake. Shoe.
