		It was not for the FE, it was for an air-cooled engine back in the flathead days.  I reviewed several blueprints of it at the Edsel Ford Research Center in Dearborn.
  I can't imagine how a magnesium head would work.  To be sure, you wouldn't want to overheat the sucker.
  Also, I believe aluminum is considerably stronger than magnesium, but I'm not certain of this.
