"Adjustable" rockers are, well, adjustable and of a completely different design than the non-adjustable rockers. Which means that if you need adjustable rockers then you have to get new "adjustable" rockers. Adjustable rockers also require new pushrods since the non-adjustable rockers use a ball-and-ball pushrod. Pushrods for adjustable rockers are a cup-and-ball design. Your question on "adjustable" is very confusing (to me, anyway) so I hope I answered correctly.
As far as the distributor goes, as long as the shaft doesn't exceed specifications for play side-to-side or up and down, it should be fine. In other words, chances are if it worked well before you pulled it and you didn't do anything to it, it will work fine when you install it. |
