RE: Comp Cam |

I'm running a 427, 10.25:1 compression, Edelbrock 427 heads (out of the box), headers, 4:30 gear and I believe the 282S comp Cam. It's the Comp Cam with .570 lift 236 @ .050". It runs great, but the HP peaks at 5600RPM. Also, have a Holley 750 DP. I'm a little disappointed that the HP peaks so soon. Not sure if its the cam, valve springs or what, But I've heard the same from others with that cam. It should be good in your application though. (BTW, it is a solid cam too) I've managed to run a 12.90 with it in a 63 Galaxie. Just want more! Good luck |
