Carlos, did you position the rings on the pistons with the end gaps spaced apart properly? Did you set the proper end gaps? Also, since you have good compression, there is a possibility you are sucking the oil past a valve guide. Did you do any work to the guides? What kind of valve guide seals did you use -- did you have to machine the heads to fit the seals? Maybe check the seals on the cylinders that are leaking oil first before tearing it down again. As a far out posibility, I once rebuilt a Ford 6 cyl. and used the original pistons. Engine did similar thing. Turned out 1 piston was ''colapsed'' (out of round) Put in a new piston and problem went away. I know you don't want to hear that though. Just some ideas -- hoping to help. |
