Which water pump to buy - 390?

hi all,
I have a 68 gt 390 and I was looking through archives..and found alot on the water pump..but I didn't seem to catch anyone say which one is best to go with..the standard replacement at the ol'e 29.95 price..or a $80 brand new unit?

I'mdoing the water pump and rad...putting in a 3+ row modine and would like to pick a good pump...any suggestions?
