Looking to go back stock or maybe 1 step up. This is a show car which I will be driving on weekends and 3-4 hours to shows. It is automatic C-6. The car is a 1966 Fairlane 500XL Convertible w/ 9" 7 3.25 gear. I am running 2500 RPM at 60 mph. This was ok when I was younger. Now I want to cruise and will be stepping down to a 3.00 rear. I am putting the Edelbrock Aluminum heads on it.

Cam choice depends on your plans/use for the engine. [n/m] -- Mr F, 10/13/2003

 Just add 3.25:1 or 3.50:1 Traction Lok and you're set. [n/m] -- Mr F, 10/15/2003
 Oh - and think about using solid-state ignition, too. [n/m] -- Mr F, 10/15/2003
