| A good place to start is check your float levels. I run a Holley red pump 6-7 psi without a regulator and a Carter Comp Plus carb without problems. Maybe put a pressure gauge in the line to check pressure. Check for a crossed plug wire. I've done that a few times over the years. Check 'em twice and the third check ya find one out of order. Maybe bad wires, carbon arcing in the cap, bad electronic module, broken ground wire on the advance plate, sticking advance plate. Just some ideas here for you. Good luck. |
