427 Nascar Crank

two questions on the crank. The C9AE-A number is ground down and in its place is SK 3737S, and the rod journal plugs are pressed in instead of screw in. I thought pressed in plugs were on early steel cranks? The rod journal does mic 0.080 wider than my other 427 steel crank. Any comments?
