Crank numbers are cast into the counterweights. You have to at least pull the oil pan.

Someone mentioned the "hatchet" spacer found on the 428 CJ / Drag Pac engines. These can be installed on a 452 or 390 or 410 and the engine will look like a 428 CJ "Super". Don't be the one who gets fooled by this trick.
