Ok, that sounds great for me(the 1.08). Now why did ford put the 1.08 which is a 480cfm on the 390/428 w/a C6? Wouldn't the big block be gasping to have the 600 cfm carb instead of the smaller one? All of the big blocks i thought had the larger 1.12 ratio. What was up with that? Was this one of those "Fords better ideas for 1966"? Just curious...

 Ford had ongoing problems w/ 390 & 428 in smog-tests. See... -- Mr F, 04/10/2004
 And 'big' 4100s aren't spec'd. at 600cfm...more like ~525. See... -- Mr F, 04/10/2004
