Edelbrock intakes have a different look.

The Streetmaster is pretty good after you perform the porting mods which Edelbrock has provided for us. You can usually ask around and find an FEr with a copy of the instructions.

Stepping beyond the PI and BT intakes suggested by Royse, the Edelbrock Performer RPM is a very good one, and is known to make 700HP+ in nearly stock form. The RPM looks a bit non-stock as do all Edelbrock intakes except the Edelbrock F427 (basically a PI clone), but the RPM is well made and well priced.

Avoid the plain Edelbrock Performer, as it's an oinker. It's advertised to "make performance", but in reality it pretty much matches "stock" performance levels.
