RE: 62 352 Paint color (code?)

I'm not a #1 expert but I can tell you the color scheme on a stock '62 Galaxie, 352-2V, U.S. production. It had a black block, heads with blue valve covers and air cleaner.

I didn't think the Canadian production cars had different color engines but then again there were definite unique differences, i.e., valve cover styles.

It's a possibility that your 352 was rebuilt at one time and the builder, engine shop or whoever may have painted the new color.

Then again maybe we'll learn something here....I'm always ready for that.
