I was talking to a person who I consider to be very knowledgeable about my turbo project when the subject of piston cooling came up he told me that nascar teams direct jets of oil which are fed from the mainbearing webs to spray the bottoms of the pistons for extra cooling of the pistons now I had neaver heard of this being used on an automotive engine although it is commonly used on aircooled motorcycle motors I can not find any references to this anywhere if anyone could shed some light on this for me I would appreciate the information or referenses
