RE: what engine do I have?

well, in looking for a date code, I found 2C24 (sound right?) and I also found a tag on the driver's side, opposite of the date code. it said G 40445 , if that means anything. also a 45 DIF. I know what the DIF means, but maybe the 45 means something?
