Not a whole lot, if anything at all. The crankshaft is a 3.5 inch stroke, and the CJ is 3.98. The bore is only 3.875 inches, making it the smallest of the FE and FT series engine (the truck engine is an FT). Dependin on what year, maybe the connecting rods. Earlier engines used the long connecting rods, while the later uses the short ones. The CJ has short rods, but even then, the CJ rods are stronger than any FT rod.
You can use the heads, but that would be pointless because they have very small valves and large combustion chambers (88cc vs. the CJ's 71cc) to promote heavy low end torque. However, because the heat crossover passages do not match from FT to FE, you would have to use the FT intake to use the FT heads. Again, that is pointless, because it woiuld rob your CJ of so much power.
Your best bet is to sell the engine to buy some aftermarket parts. |
