Hey Justin, I have this set up exactly for the last few years. I went with a hydraulic cam, 553 intake 565 exhaust @285 advertised duration. RPM heads, intake, aluminum water pump, adjustable rockers, 650 mighty demon since I only get 7" of vacuum at idle. FPA headers, alternator bracket, canton oil pan...forged pistons, eagle connecting rods, MSD ignition & distributor.
So a Year ago I was on a Mustang dyno and at the rear wheels 263 hp with 320 ft/lbs of torque. Just to compare there was a 429 boss on the dyno all original and he put down 232 hp and 260 ft/lbs.....Now thw Mustang dyno is know for being a truer reading of HP and Torque. The Dynojet like on HP TV reads 13% higher.
Now I have not run on the track since I have a 67 convertible mustangs GT but I am sure I will pull a good number such that I would get kicked off since I don't have a roll bar.
Drop me a line if you wish to have more info Zane
