You challenged my memory.
I grew up in a 60 Merc 430-2v and later we had a 58 Merc 430-4v "360hp", it ran 0-60 in the low 8's as I recall our clocking it.

The website below has a picture that will help you ID the engine. Basically on the FE (352) the valve cover bolts to the head AND the intake. On the MEL (430) the valve cover bolts only to the head. THere's other diffs too, the forum below is pretty good.
Lotsa luck if you need parts but the 430 is a good motor as-is, my opinion.
Then again, if you have a 352, you can pretty easily "hide" a 428 under its valve covers and make a lot more power than the 430.
