exhaust cutouts

Does anyone have a guess on HP gains from exhaust cutouts on a 400hp 428 running performance mufflers now. I have to redo my exhaust anyway and have seen cutouts in the performance magazines that "uncap with 3 bolts in seconds". Or do these cutouts end up leaking and are more of a pain in the long run. I live in a very rural community and the occasional noise from open headers would not be a major deal. I'm the only Ford guy among 5 or 6 Chevys and am looking for bolt on hp to hold my own. Cam has .592 lift and 242 intake duration and 250 exh. duration @ .50 with Edelbrock aluminum heads in a 69 Mach 1. Also will be running a H-pipe and FPA headers.
