RE: 390 rebuild... my plans and problems

I too am working on a 390, but mine is in a '74 F-100. I plan on using edlebrock intake and carb and have found that Summit Racing (http://www.summitracing.com/) has even cheaper parts than Autozone. Autozone (http://www.autozone.com/) does come closer than any other Co. out there though. I have already changed my points out with a Pertronix igniter, and have upgraded to 8mm wires and a cap & rotor kit from a late model 302. Immediate difference with those changes and can't wait to see what the other results will be.
