Brent;

Just about all FE (and some FT) applications had "352" cast on the block. The story I got from an old auto industry retiree was that Ford created casting molds for 332 and 352 blocks. As the CID of the FE motors increased, the exterior dimension did not, and therefore the same exterior mold was used for the 352, 360, 361, 390, 391 and 410 cid engines, as well as some early 427 and 428 castings. Don't know how true this story is, but I have personally seen 352, 360, 390 and 410 engines with "352" cast on the block.
