What sort of times will it do?
I have a 1968 GT390 FB Mustang, 750 double pumper carb, holley street dominator intake, hooker headers with flowmasters, 270H Comp cam, C6 gear box with 9” LSD and 3.5:1 gears, running standard 10.5:1 compression.
I’ve just fitted the 3.5:1 diff gears, it was running 3.00’s. On the standard 14” wheels and street tires it ran 13.8 second ¼ miles @ around 99mph.
I have since bought some 15” x 10” wheels with hoosier (sticky) tires and fitted 3.5 diff gears. What times should I expect now?
