RE: Ford books say 289 2V intake. Can that be right? [n/m]

No,it's definitley a 4v FE.It match's up to a set of C8AE-H head's that I have.I re-checked the number's,the last letter might be a G,but the rest of the number's are clear. Thank's Mark Talbot
