I bought a can labeled "old ford blue" that was next to a can of darker blue labled simply "ford blue" so I opted for the former kind. I compared my air filter cover, with the old paint on it, to the the intake manifold, that I just recently had cleaned at a machine shop and painted myself, and there is a bit of a difference. But it's hard to say, maybe it'll darken and look just like it's supposed to after awhile.
