The Offy 4X2 has larger runners but should work. As for the hook up, I think a universal dual carb linkage might work, I have this intake but never used it. It is a lower intake, but looks like it would flow well.
Watch out for the 427 setup, they may not match the intake ports. I think the Offy is made for 390~428 and the 427 may have taller intake runners and this would be very hard to match up on standard 390 heads.
The common 390 heads (C8AE-H, C7AE-A, DT2..) all have smaller shorter ports, you don't want a tall port intake with short port heads. The height of the intake runners on the Offy are 2 1/8"
