Heat riser By T1M - 11/20/2000 1:48:31 PM; IP 64.148.169.44 Well, not actually the heat riser. My question has to do with the part the runs the warm air around the exhaust manifold to the heat riser. I took it off and forgot to put it back on when I replaced the head gaskets two years ago. It takes noticeably longer for the engine to warm up now. Can I simply remove the three or so bolts that hold this part on and re torque them or do I have to take off all the bolts and put them back in in the tigtening sequence? I used exhaust manifold gaskets btw. I have a 68' Galaxie with a 390 2-V. Thanks
