Tunnelports are wild race motors, and to detune them for the street means they won't be running in the range they were designed. Because their powerband is in the higher RPM registers, you will find they don't run as efficiently at street speeds as, say, a 428CJ. Still, if it's built properly, you can make one hell of a street screamer out of it, just so long as you understand it's needs.
