I must note however that the ford powertrain applications fe tri-y headers are a mighty close fit and I expect the drivers side to rattle
as it just barely almost contacts the block plate/scattershield.
The tilton super starter is also not happy with the headers, although a stock starter looks like it would fit fine.
I find myself having to drill a couple of new holes in the nose plate of the super starter in order to align it in an inoffensive manner.
